Last night I left my camera (a Nikon D60) at Von on Bleeker street and didn’t realize it was missing until I got back to Brooklyn, over an hour later. So I let out an “Awww F—-” on Bedford Ave. and returned to the subway to go back to the bar.

Sing Sing on St Marks is fun if you prefer private rooms (not a lot of bar area there) but you need a group to keep the cost down…Lemongrass (I think that’s the name) is on 13th and University (it’s below a Japanese restaurant) has a huge bar area and is free to sing plus has large private rooms at a decent price :)
I may be up for it so let me know if you go!

Noticed Today...
lfarm: It’s a shame the number 5 takes so much longer to write (relatively) to the other single digit numbers. No shortcuts to be taken or it looks like a messy backwards 2, and that’s not cool with me.
I’ve taken to writing an “8” as two tangent circles (like 2/3 of a snowman) after writing “2008” a bunch of times. Talk about a time waster.

The Phil Specter version of “The Long And Winding Road” makes me cringe. If there is one song that is indicative of why Let It Be… Naked is such a substantial improvement over the original, it’s this song.
